To Derrick's family and friends, today was especially difficult for all of us. The Christmas season brings not only many extra special memories of Derrick but marks the one month date of his crossing over. It still seems so unreal. Derrick was the one who made me as strong as i am today. I learned from Derrick to never let things pass by, and to always stand your ground. If Derrick did anything in this life, it was touching many lives.

I wasn’t a close friend of Derrick’s, but I knew him throughout my life. I grew up with him in school and was in disbelief when I heard the news of his passing. I am very sorry for your loss.

Wow so young to be with the Lord, but only the Lord knows why he took him so young. RIP and I am sorry for the peoples familys it touched most.

This is Steve Reali's big brother. I really am sorry to hear about Derrick. He was a really good kid and he will be missed by many.
