Not sure what to say?

In the mission field we saw him demonstrate his great love for the Lord through his dedication and faith. He used his talents very effectively to bless the lives of the people in El Salvador. Our hearts are heavy as we share this loss with you. However, we can share our joy knowing he is a step ahead of us in a better place. We...

I served in El Salvador with Derrick. I remember he was a hard worker, but knew how to have fun. He always knew how to make others laugh. To his family, I am sorry for your loss. It was a privilege to know him and he will be missed!

I served a mission in El Salvador with Derrick. I had the priveledge of taking his place in the area Mejicanos when he was tranferred. He was an energetic, fun, and spirited man who loved the gospel. I know the loss you feel; I lost my older brother when I was 11. I know that you will cherish the day when you can be together again. Derrick, may God be with you till we meet again.

I served my mission with Derrick. He was a great missionary and a wonderful friend to me. He had a great ability to speak Spanish, his testimony was so strong and he had a deep love for the people of El Salvador. He made the mission more fun and exciting and he will be very missed. I am sorry for your loss.

I served in El Salvador with Derrick. I did not know him that well but I did know that he was a very energetic, funny missionary with a great attitude towards missionary work. I can't believe that this happened. My condolences to his family.

I served with Derrick in El Salvador in my first zone. He was always upbeat and happy about life whenever I saw him. Que Dios les benidga.
