I met Derrick and his mother at the Southern Cancer Center at Providence. He remembered me from high school but I didn't remember him. But I'm glad I met him he was helping take care of his stepfather who was going through treatments. I sat and talked with Derrick and his mother and tried to pass on some information to them to help his family. They were a blessing to me that day and I hope I was the same to them. RIP my brother. Condolences and special prayers to his mother and stepfather.
