To the Family:
My deepest sympathy is with you at this time. I worked with Derrick at DFW and he was a bright spot in my day. I only knew him for a little over a year but he made it seem as we were life long friends. He gave me the nickname "leather and wood", and when I came in to work each day, his voice yelling "LEATHER AND WOOD", would be the first thing I would hear. He will truly be missed. My prayers are with you.

We miss "Dee-J" already, here at DFW. The nicest person to work with and always feeding those birds. Made the work-day a joy.
