Not sure what to say?

I was moved by Derrick Wyatt´s art with David McCallum using his Professor Paradox and looking back I am grateful for what David McCallum taught me, please tell David McCallum that I am thankful for what he taught me from my teenage years to right now.

I want to write to show my respects and condolences for the passing of Derrick J. Wyatt. I didn't know him, personally, but I have followed him through social media, specially on Instagram; Twitter and Ask.fm; asking questions about his projects and everything related to his work. Thanks to him, I've learned to draw on his style, mostly; but I'm sure that many people will forever remember him for he was great and he was awesome. To me, he'll always be, the "Masterman". Till All Are One.

I never personally knew Mr. Wyatt. I was born far too late to ever befriend him in person, but he's been a major presence in my life through his works. The world may have lost a soul, but he's not truly gone. He lives on through his art and the many imaginations it inspired, across generations. May he rest in peace, gone but not forgotten. Immortal in our hearts and memories.

Oh, sweet Derrick. I became close to Derrick in 7th grade when I sat behind him in Math class. I still have all the drawings he did for me through the years. We always stayed friends and hung out in high school. We even walked together for graduation. My heart is broken. He was truly a sweet and gentle soul. Rest in peace Derrick. I am glad I knew you and will never forget your smile and laugh.

Derrick's work was always impressive, he seemed so generous of spirit and embodied fun. His cartoons were a balm for me during difficult times in my life and I go back to them in dark and happy times. I have been lucky in life to work with people that had worked with him and confirmed what I had thought all along, that Derrick was both a mega talent and a good person. Its devastating to know how much his loved ones must miss him but I hope that so many of us passing along the messages of joy...

I talked with Derrick at several conventions over the years and was always struck by his generosity; with his art, with his encouragement and support, and most of all, with his time for fans. He was a genuine joy to talk to, funny, warm, and down-to-earth, and I always hoped I'd get another chance to see him. Even today, his work makes me feel like a kid again, and I see so many signs of his passion within it. I always looked forward to hearing about what he was working on next. I am truly...

Always interacted with fans, myself included, in such a kind and funny way. Love goes out to his family and friends like Denise, Ally, and Josh.

DJW inspired me into loving drawing and art. He was an amazing man who had an amazing talent. He loved his fans and loved those who showed him things he had never seen before. I´ll miss talking to you. Love you
