Derry was a valued friend as is his wife Dora. There are so many memories of their years in Kentwood. My prayers are with her and the
family.

My deepest sympathy.

I shall never forget the impact Dr. Magee and Miss Dora made on my life. Dr. Magee was a big man - tall and strong. But, he was a SPIRITUAL GIANT and greatly influenced my life and walk with the Lord as a young deacon at FBC in Kentwood. I will forever be greatful for his ministry at FBC Kentwood, for his love of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and for the many ways he reached out to people to help them, encourage them, and to just help them have a better day. My thoughts and prayers...
