To the Messmer Family,
I have just learned today of Desiree's death. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
As a teacher many students touch our lives. Desiree was one of my students who has a special place in my heart. I loved her smile and her genuine laugh. She really did love life. We are all a little better for having known her. I know the angels are smiling with her. Be Happy, Desiree!

For the Messmer family,
Des will always be remembered by those who knew her. I only had her in one class, but I will certainly never forget her. Such was her impact on those around her. Underneath the funny knit caps and the dandelion hair was a bright and curious mind. I won't forget her because she made me look at the world a little bit differently and she made me smile.

Sherry and Family
My deepest sympathy to the Messmer family, I attended UTTC with her and graduated with her. She was a person that made everyone laugh or smile, and i will never forget how much she looked like her mom and laughed like Sherry as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in your time of mourning. Desi will be missed !!!

Dear Messmer Family-
I am sorry for your loss-I went to high school with Des and Marcey-Des was always making everyone laugh-I miss her laugh. It's unfortunate that we make contact again under these terms but Marcey was always as strong as Des and I know she will make sure everyone gets through this ok.
My sympathies & your whole family will be in our prayers-Sommer
