Not sure what to say?

I was a resident and fellow during Desmond's tour at Parkland. I found him to be one of those unusual men who was both a great physician and a real man. When my wife was killed, Desmond contacted me and shared his condolences--it meant a lot to me, both then and today. He will be missed.

Dear Corbett Family,
I will never be able to express gratitude for the love and compassion that Dr. Corbett gave during my husband's illness. During the terminal phase of my husband Jack's life Dr. Corbett would spend time talking with me in the early hours of the morning or just sitting with me in the lonely hospital. I will always be grateful. He was a gentle sole. My deepest sorrow for your family.

Desmond was a fellow in our program at UT Southwestern, where he excelled. Fellows are not supposed to pass away before their teachers. I am so sorry.

I WAS SADDENED TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF DR. CORBETT. I WORKED WITH HIM MANY YEARS AT PLAZA MEDICAL CENTER. HE WAS SUCH A DELIGHT TO BE AROUND. REMEMBER 'EARTH HAS NO SORROWS THAT HEAVEN CANNOT HEAL'

We were so sorry to hear this sad news. Dr. Corbett was a lovely, kind man. Our deepest sympathies to Vicky and the Corbett family.

TO the Corbett Family,
I had the great honor of working with Dr.Corbett for several years at both Baylor All Saints Endoscopy and at Fort Worth Endoscopy. He was a wonderful and patient teacher. His laughter and smile will always be a treasured rmemberance and he will be sorely missed. May God give you peace and may you feel His arms around you during your time of healing. God Bless you all.

We were so sorry to hear of Dr. Corbett's death. He was a special person to our family. We will always remember how he cared for our Mother. Such a loving doctor. We are praying for you as you adjust to life without him. Lean on our Heavenly Father. He cares for you all. Wardene Yeaman & Ann Rhoades

To Desmond's Family,

I was very sorry to hear of the untimely passsing of Desmond into his eternal life. I was fortunate to have been a friend of Desmond's at Nolan High School. I have many lasting memories of our times shared together. Please be sustained by the wonderful memories you made with your Dad and husband over the years for those memories will eventually dry your tears of sorrow. I know that I will chuckle on occasion as I recall memories of our youth together. May God...
