It was with sadness that I heard that my aunt, Dessia McDonald, passed away. She was one of my mother's younger sisters & was always a supportive member of the family. I remember how caring she was when I stayed with her & Don as a young boy, going to high school in the area of town that her & Don lived. I learned a lot about family, life & character that fall of 1962. I remember her always making sure I had enough to eat & she would always make sure that I had excellent pre-game meals. I...
