Dear Helge, Marion, and Gerda, A friend in Yellow Springs recently shared the sad news about Detlef's death. Living across the street from the Frank family is one of my brother Greg and my deepest childhood memories. The Franks meant babysitters and delicious Bavarian Christmas cookies. We secretly referred to Detlef as "the Philosopher." It sounds like he lived true to himself lifelong. Our thoughts and love are with you. Karen (Gorden)
