Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Dr. Singh passing. He taught me as an undergraduate. What a wonderful teacher. I signed up to assist him in his research. I so much enjoyed hearing his ideas. My condolences to his family for their loss.

I was a friend of Devendra Singh and his family. We were also neighbors of Dev Singh and Barbara for many years. My fond rememberance of Dr. Singh is his ability to make one laugh in any and every circumstance by his incredible ability of story telling. Of course he was a great connoisseur of food and drinks which we enjoyed together on many occasions. Kumkum and I send our condolences to Dev's family and friends and we pray to the Almighty for eternal peace of his soul.
Barada & Kumkum...

I was one of Dev's first grad students, starting in his lab in 1971. The greatest thing Dev did for me was to teach me how to teach. I have unabashedly been using everything he taught me, including that joke about the tiger, lion, elephant and monkey, for over 30 years. And I will never forget our amazing trips to the Copland Inn every time someone had a birthday!

My sincere condolences to the family.

I had Dr. Singh for my professor at UT and then my daughter was blessed to have him also. He will be greatly missed. He was an amazing man.

While I did not know Dr. Singh, I have the privilege of being on the faculty of the School of Social Work at Texas State University-San Marcos with his daughter, Dr. Anne Deepak. After reading this wonderful tribute to Dr. Singh and working with Anne, it is obvious that he passed on many of his gifts to her! Even in this time of loss, it seems Dr. Singh lives on in memory and through his family.

What a wonderful man and teacher. I was so blessed to have known him. Thank you.

Dear Dev,
I was an honored recipient of several fabulous lamb curries, although sometimes surprised to be seated on the floor. Barbara, you were the sous-chef of his life and I share in your loss along with your dear daughters.
