My father, James R. Steed, was principal at Temperance Road Elementary School for a number of years and Mrs. Shinkle was his assistant principal. I was always so excited when I went with my Dad for an event and Mrs. Shinkle was there. I was in awe of her and thought she was amazing. She always made me feel special. Blessings to all of her family at this time.
