OAKLEY, DEVON JENNINGS (SCOOB)—age 4 of Knoxville, went to be with Jesus at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

Survived by: parents, Stephanie and Michael Oakley of Knoxville; brother, Michael Benjamin Oakley; sister, Alexus Nicole Oakley; grandparents, JoAnn (Meme) and Bob Everett; Mike and June (Nana) Oakley; Steve (Big Daddy) and Terri Rose; great-grandparents, Trula Chapman; Ben and Dorothy Rose; Don and Virginia Cannon; Houston and Delcie Everett; great-great grandfather, Rev. J. Walker Kitts; aunts and uncles, David and Kimberly Cardwell; Stephen Rose II; like a nana, aunt, Amanda Everett; great aunts and uncles, Jean Collins, Linda and David Davis, Howard and Joyce Wyrick, Samuel and Betty Vaughn, James C. Oakley, Jr., Marvin and Pattie Chapman; first cousin, Elizabeth Cardwell.

Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Chapel with Rev. Justin Pratt officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Friday at Halls Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service and interment

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at Broadway.
