Not sure what to say?

Ahhh, sweet Dewey. He and Theda lived on our road when we moved there in 1978 and remained our friends (family ) until they passed from us. When Justin was in grade school, barely printing, he wrote a story about someone he admired and that person was Dewey. He wrote about how Dewey taught his brother to hunt coons and as soon as he gets bigger, Dewey said he will teach him. How Dewey and Theda let him help kill the chickens for the freezer and let him keep the feet. LOL. And many other...

I sure loved Dewey and Theda and will miss them so much.

Wanda & Family
I wish I could be with you today to celebrate the life of a real character & true hero. Your Mom & Dad were loved by many. I am glad I talked with them this past summer. Their legacy will be in the wonderful memories they left for their family & friends. We have all learned so much from them. May God bless you all.

So sorry for your loss..Wanda, Bernie, Sandy and families. Your mother and father are together once again. We will keep you in our thoughts.

Bernie and Susan, Dewey was a special friend to me and to the whole school community. When Dewey spoke--we listened! Not a child or an adult walked into Collinsville School without first wiping their feet and then getting a hug or a greeting from Dewey. Dewey took care of all of us. May he be at peace.

Dewey and my Dad were friends. So sorry for your families loss, may God send you angels of peace and comfort.

Sorry for the loss of Dewey. We lost a good neighbor. May God provide you with peace and comfort at this time. Steve Flaig and Linda Gaebel
