Dewey was a good friend to my dad as they both served in the Army Air Corps during WW ll. They had many conversations about their wartime experiences when Dewey would stop by. These men were part of the “greatest generation” as Tom Brokaw so accurately identified. Men of substance and courage when their country called them. It is so fitting that Dewey will be laid to rest on a day we recognize all veterans and the sacrifices they made. Many gave up their futures so we could have one. God...
