Dewey was a celebrity to the many people driving past him taking his walk each day along Nicholas Drive waving and smiling like they were his closest friend. I would go out of my way to return a wave and a smile and some casual comments. He stopped to keep me company while i built my shed during the summer many years ago. I remember sitting on his porch for hours on end making casual conversation. He was the happiest of people with so many friends who never knew his name but recognized...
