DeWitt was one of the nicest, most generous, soft-spoken, benevolent people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He took such pride in his family. He never had a negative thing to say and was very devout in his faith. "Doc" was loved by all of those whose lives he touched. I am so sorry to learn of his passing and know he is at home with God. I was so sorry to hear of your loss in the passing of Deacon Dewitt. It's been years since I've seen him, but I remember him being quiet, unassuming, hard working, faithful, and conscientious.
