Not sure what to say?

Dexter was a superb business leader, an outstanding visionary, an exceptional supporter of the arts and a great friend. A tough guy on he tennis court, too!

Dotti and family,
I just learned from a related article in the Bethlehem Press that Dex passed. Our prayers go out to you and the family. I also know that if Jean (McQuade) and my late wife (June) were still here they wiuld echo my sympathies. I remember well as a classmate of Dex at Lehigh his struggling with some of the Mech Eng subjects and helping him get by. The house parties at Theta Chi and reunions, especially the 50th. My biggest blunder with Dex in the early 50's was turning him...

Dottie and family........Being so far away, it usually takes time to learn of the passing of very good friends...just today learned of the death of my good and long time friend Dex.....Rosemary and I send our sincere thoughts and prayers to you all with my all good memories of the times we spent with you in Allentown
Jack, Rosemary Curcio and family....

Dear Al and Leslie
Please accept our deepest condolences. I was lucky enough to meet your Dad on two occasions. He was obviously a very kind, considerate, and thoughtful gentleman. He left a great impact on the business and Arts worlds.

Dex Baker was a leader in everything he did. He will long be remembered for his compassion, enthusiasm, energy, love of life, keen intellect and great sense of humor. In Webster's Dictionary next to the entry for "alpha male", Dexter Baker's picture is embossed right on the page. To his beloved Dottie and his daughters, thank you for sharing this giant of a man with his community, his business colleagues, his revered Lehigh, and to every other individual and organization that he touched. ...

We were greatly saddened to hear of Dexter's passing and will keep Dottie, Ellen, and the rest of the Baker family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dottie,

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Dexter, a truly great man who through his example inspired us all to strive to always be the best we can be. It was an honor and privilege to have had the opportunity to work with you and Dexter on several sculpture projects. Dexter will be missed by so many. I wish you and your family peace and comfort at this difficult time.

With kindest personal regards,

Dear Mrs. Baker and Family,

I was so sorry saddened to hear of Mr. Bakers passing. After my dad died, he made sure that all the Graeffe kids were ok. He was kind and gentle and made us feel safe. Heartfelt prayers for you all during this most difficult time.
