Not sure what to say?

June 29, 2020

This will seem odd but i met Dexter almost 30 years ago through a friend of his, Brent Farrell when i briefly lived in Rutland, For some reason i thought about him and said, let me see if hes online anywhere. Needless to say i was shocked and saddened when i came across this article. Truly one of the gentlest human beings i have ever met. I am sorry about your loss but your son made an impact on a lot of people and certainly me in a matter of months. One of a kind....

My prayers and sympathies to you. Dexter was always a funny, kind, gentle soul way back so many years ago in high school. I always enjoyed our friendship, even when he tried to teach me to drive stick shift (yikes!). May you watch over all of us Mounties, Dexter!

I enjoyed taking care of Dexter in long term care.
He touched a lot of people around him,he will not be forgotten.
we are happy he is at peace and we will miss him.

You will remain in our hearts always dex

Miss you dex....

It saddens our hearts:( i knew dexter a few years, but my husband david shappy & dexter where friends since high school at msj, life long friends & dexter always had a warm and loving way about him & loved his poetry and yhe outdoors. We will miss him very much♡ sympathy to his father and family during this sad time+

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Sending my condolences to you all.
