I got to know Diana a little bit through my sister-in-law & Diana's best friend, Diane. Memories of those Thanksgivings years ago: We'd have our dinner & then go for the traditional walk to see the Plaza lighting ceremony. We'd meet up with Diana or she'd meet at my inlaws' house. Even though she didn't know us well, she treated us with a pleasantness. Her smile was one of her trademarks. When I think of her, that comes to mind. And that is how I'll remember her. Diane was a true friend and neighbor, she has loaned and given me more "cups of sugar" than anyone I know. Her motto was Keep Calm and Carry on. That's is what I will do.

My heart is broken for this close family and the loss of Diana. She was always there for me. She loved my two daughters like they were her own. She had thoughtful little gifts for them at every holiday and special things for them to see or do when they visited. Diana had a naturally caring nature about her that put other people first. She was protective towards her friends and family. We made lots of great memories and through the highs and the sometimes lows, we are sisters forever. Best...

I have known Diana since high school. We worked together at Hobby Lobby and lived together twice. You were the "fixer". When one of us girl's was broken hearted we came to you. You brushed us off and sent us on our way. No one else had that kind of power. The nights we spent at Joshua'S Lounge ! I miss you so much. The trip to San Diego was a blast.
