My son Scott Howerton and I are saddened by Diana's loss. She was a wonderfully creative and generous co-worker who always took time in her day to make others feel better and BE better in their roles. She was kind enough to encourage Scott's interest in food safety, and mentored him toward a major in microbiology, by allowing him to shadow her team at Frito-Lay.
