Diana's legacy is still felt and her presence is just a thought away.

My son Scott Howerton and I are saddened by Diana's loss. She was a wonderfully creative and generous co-worker who always took time in her day to make others feel better and BE better in their roles. She was kind enough to encourage Scott's interest in food safety, and mentored him toward a major in microbiology, by allowing him to shadow her team at Frito-Lay. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Optimism is the word that I would use to describe Diana. When things were down, she always had a way of finding the positives and worked towards that goal. I am thankful I had a chance to know her, a real inspiration to others.

Diana this is a sad way to say Hi. I missed the chance for a reunion to provide satire on my life and hopeless TCU Frogs. You had the talent to use satire for fun. Love you.
