Not sure what to say?

Dede came into my life when she began dating Jules and moved next door. Our friendship continued throughout the years - dinners, afternoon tea, and emergency trips to the Creamery. She was funny, quirky, loving, kind and a dear friend. She lived a long and beautiful life with Jules and I hope she is reunited with him now. Knowing her and spending time with her was one of the greatest blessings of my life. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I put the Flower Show picture up of Jules, Judy Ireland, and Dede after another successful flower show exhibit! What a great couple. I knew Jules and Dede via the RI Wild Plant Society. I have very fond memories of Dede. Your spirit lives on in your friends, Dede! Mary Lou Upham

And even in the way back machine when she piled a countless number of us kids into her green Cadillac convertible and drove us all to one of the Newport beaches. The obituary you wrote sums up exactly how I perceived her to be and how I will remember her - Larger than life, unabashedly herself, loving,...
