I knew Diana my senior year at McCallum, we were in the Royal Court Players, and we remained friends our four years at UT, l worked for Bentsen and knew she had worked for him, what a wonderful career she had with so many wonderful achievements in community and her work for mental health, she was a caring, kind and gentle soul, well done Diana, my condolences to her family. So sorry to hear about Dian's death. We were friends at UT- having met at a function sponsored by the women's co-op where she was living in 1964. She showed a talent for public engagement which no doubt led to her RTF career and various advocacy efforts. In her first part time job while at UT she was kind enough to take my parents on an extended tour of the State Capitol. She was proud of her role as the first female Capitol tour guide.
