Diana (DiDi) Lynette Dieterich

Met Didi when we were students at NCState. She was extraordinarily gifted as an artist and adventurer. My fondest memory is backpacking in Europe with her, Mike, Tracy and Janet. She added a lot to my life and though we lost touch, she is loved and missed.

I was listening to the U2 Joshua Tree album today and it took me back to my days at Midland College where I met Didi....I was a fellow architect student (now licensed Architect in Midland) and I remember that Didi and I both got along so well and both loved this album. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I had forgotten her over the years until I played this album and low and behold it just reminded me of her so vividly. I remember one night while we were all still up 'pulling an all...

I was saddened to learn of Didi's passing. I met Didi at work in the early '80's when she first came to Midland to work as a geologist. We hung out a few times and I remember one time I got in her car and she was listening to Kenny Loggins. Whenever I hear Kenny Loggins, I think of her. She was such a smart, adventurous and beautiful lady. May the memories you have of her help to comfort you and give you peace in the days ahead.

Didi was such a beautiful, vibrant young woman. There are happy memories going back to her adolescence.
