Not sure what to say?

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write such kind words about my mother. She was definitely one of a kind. Although I'm sad that I only got to spend 25 years with her I take comfort in knowing that she doesn't have to spend another year in pain. I loved my mother more than life itself - Such a strong woman, such a sick sense of humor, such a beautiful smile, always willing to feed someone or take them in, making me feel like I could do anything, loving me unconditionally and...

To Diana's Family and Friends:

I have known Diana 30 plus years. We met as students at the University of Rhode Island and continued our friendship over the years. I still remember her smile and sense of humor when we first met. No matter how bad things got for all of us we always found joy in the memories we shared. I often think about the many classes we took together, the celebrations we shared, the birth of our children and the joys, tears and saddest we shared.

...

To Peggy, Jamie, Rosilyn, Deanna, Christine and Justin and the family and most of all to you Dianna, from my heart to all of yours. "Much love to you". God heals all hearts in time. Dianna's legacy of sincere love will be with us all forever. From your cousin

I met Diana in college and our friendship expanded over 30 years. In those 30 years we went thru many trials and tribulations that life brings us-some made us laugh and some made us cry.Our friendship never \waived and we always managed to come out of a situation until now. We can all find comfort that Diana is no longer suffering, and we are grateful for that and she is at peace. People come into our lives for different reasons and with them comes joy and lessons. Diana apprreciated life and...

Having Diana Guy as my Godmother enabled me to also have her as a second mother as well. She enlightened my soul, heart, and mind in times when i needed it most, and has left me with so many "pearls" as a reflection of what it is to be a strong, black, and beautiful woman. She led by example, and she is dearly missed yet never forgotten...I love you Auntie Di, and i should have told you that more often. I only hope to be half the mother to my three girls as you were to us...

My deepest condolences goes out to Deanna and her sister. I didn't know Diana, but I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayes in this time of sorrow and loss.

I AM DEEPLY SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS. SHE IS A WONDERFULL WOMAN AND IS VERY GENERIOUS PERSON. I KNOWN HER SINCE I WAS A 11 YEARS OLD SHE BEEN THERE FOR ME WHEN I NEEDED HER. GOD WILL BE BY HER SIDE. IM SO SORRY AGAIN FOR YOUR LOSS. LOVE AND PRAYER TO THE FAMILY

Mrs. Guy was a second mother to me. Everytime I saw or spoke with her she would give me advice on how to "slow down" in life. She was nothing but a beautiful and strong woman and a true Lady, in ever sense of the word. They do not make Lady's anymore like Mrs. Guy. She was and is one of a kind! Always and forever remembered, loved, admired and missed. You showed me what true dignity, self-respect and strength is all about. I love and miss you very much, mom.

Deanna and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss, your mom was an angel and god has called her home, she will be missed.
Love,
Lita
