I am just now finding out about your death and deeply saddened and shocked at the wake of your death and want to express that I appreciate all you had done for me at the time of my stupidity at 18 years old. I owe a lot to this women! She gave me a second chance at life. I was 20 years old going down a dark path. I landed myself in trouble with some old bad habits and desperately wanted change. I found out I was going to have a child and I so badly wanted to be there with him and not put him through the continuous cycle that I was brought up in. But it was a slim chance and I was preparing for the worse. I knew if I wasn't able to be there for my sons birth that would be something I wouldn't come...

I have known Diana for over a decade. Diana has inspired many people in her life to strive to improve their lives for the better. Diana will be missed, she is in heaven smiling down upon us... Diana was an excellent jurist... Rest In Peace my friend.

I met Judge Hampton over video court in December of 2012. I had never been in trouble before but had been struggling with an addiction after my mother passed away tragically two years prior. Judge Hampton saved my life. I was on a downward spiral but Judge Hampton believed in me. She sentenced me to thirty days in jail with the hopes that I would get clean and sober.
