Diana Lynn Herd LeBlanc passed away on July 12, 2023, at 71. The daughter of Ray and Elinor Avis (Ransom) Herd, Diana was born on January 23, 1952, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Lynn lived on St. Croix, U. S. There she worked as a Registered Nurse in the VI Public Health Department until her retirement in 2011. Her life centered around her little house on the south shore at Castle Nugent Farm, her cats, and her participation in croquet and social activities at the St. Croix Tennis Club. In 2018 she relocated to Vero Beach, Florida, to newfound domestic contentment and dedicated friends.
She is survived by her long-term partner Jeremiah (Jeff) Lawlor, sisters Margret Anne Herd Robinson, Lois Marie Herd Gesn, and brother Charles Ray Herd. She is also survived by much-loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great-nephew, as well as her cat Lucky and dog Missy. She is preceded in death by parents Elinor and Ray Herd and sister Mary Elizabeth Herd Moseley.
A graveside service for Diana is Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:30 am in the Bolivar Cemetery in Sanger, Texas. Justin Herd will be officiating.
