Not sure what to say?

I met Diana in London. We were both studying abroad for a semester with Drew University. After college we met up again in NYC and spent our twenties as close friends, enjoying our careers and life in the city. She was beautiful, charming, funny, and intelligent. My continuing condolences to her family and those who remember her with great love.

Ps: I had looked up Diana in the summer of 2017, and reached out to her via her website. Understandably, I never heard back from her. Having no idea what her situation was then, but knowing she had written a book, I ordered a copy.
I just checked my amazon orders. I ordered her book on September 20, 2017.

I wrote a lengthy msg recently and it disappeared.

JUST heard of Diana's passing. She was so insightful, bright, full of goodness and brought so much to every conversation. My time at United Media was hugely enriched by her presence. Suddenly there is an emptiness around me. Bless her (forever) and bless her family.

I only learned of Diana's passing several weeks ago. It fills my heart with immense sadness. We knew each other well while working at United Business Publications in the mid-to-late 70s, she at Audio Visual Communications; me at Videography. I liked her immediately because she stood out for her intelligence, wit, cultural tastes and infectious smile. It was a joy to work with her and we spent hours gossiping about the company and the industry. The laughter never stopped. In fact, the...

My deepest sympathy on your loss

The Book Club Companion is The Best book about book clubs there is. In her book, she suggests groups make a scrapbook of their reads and experiences. Well. She needed to see the scrapbooks for The Cape Goddesses Book Group. I said as much in my amazon review of her book in 2007. After subsequently meeting her at my library, and showing her our scrapbooks, I invited her to one of our discussions. Her positive reply was immediate. We loved having her visit our discussion. The way she...

I'm so sorry and saddened to hear the news of beautiful Diana's passing. I was lucky to know Diana for over 3 decades since we first met at United Media in 1983. We spent many lively hours together in lively and often laughing conversation (with and without books), and I will miss her passion, sense of humor, biting wit, and beautiful smile very very much. Since I missed the shiva and services, please let me know if there are plans for other celebrations of Diana's life I can attend...

Bea/Jay and family, My heart goes out to you in this time of great loss. I was shocked and saddened to hear of your beloved Diana's untimely passing, just days after talking to you about her. I'm sorry that I did not know her. She had her mother's beauty, and clearly led a meaningful life, cut too short. May her memory be a blessing for all her loved ones.
