Genealogy research was one of Diane's specialties and that is how I met her. We communicated back and forth about research for quite a few years.....not just about the Haner/Hayner family, but about related families and descendants as well. As president of the Hayner Family Association for the last dozen years, I was awed by the commitment and support of Diane, longtime dedicated secretary, organizer, editor and genealogist.
