I had the privilege of knowing Diane from grammar school until we graduated from Clarkstown High in 1965. Diane was an exemplary student who kept us all sharp. By setting her own standards very high, she elevated the goals of all her classmates. She also had a certain mystery about her that sparkled in her eyes.
