SOUTH HADLEY – Diane Champagne, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 29th, 2022. Diane was born in Holyoke, daughter of Laura (Trombley) and the late Steven Labonte. She worked as a lead auditor for C&S where she was known for her hard work. Diane had a beautiful soul and will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and unmatched loyalty. Deedee, as they called her, will be remembered for sneaking candies to the kids at Mema’s house. Diane’s last words to her mother were “I Love You from the ground to the stars.” Diane leaves behind her mother Laura Labonte of S. Hadley, her birth father John Champagne of S. Hadley, siblings John Champagne of S. Hadley, Stephani Amato and husband Marco of West Springfield, Jerika Templeton and husband Stephan of S.Hadley, Eileen, Jonathan, Korey, Josh and Noshkami Champagne, nephews; Zayden, Johnny, Axel, Johnny C, Jace, Juju and Asher and nieces, Hazel and Gabrielle. I was very sorry to hear about Diane's passing. About two months ago I was able to give her some zip ties she needed for her car. We had a nice talk, as Diane was a very pleasant person to talk with. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew Diane. Chet Marciniak
