Not sure what to say?

A long year has passed since losing Diane. And I know your hearts have barely begun to heal. She was a great neighbor who loved her family. She is singing in God's great choir. Take comfort in that.

Diane was part of a group of gals from the GR Press who often lunched together. I fondly remember those days. Diane was a valued addition to the group with her contagious smile, easy going demeanor and infectious laugh. (Including horse stories)

Diane held a variety of significant positions in the newsroom of The Grand Rapids Press. In all, she helped to make The Press a better paper, a point of singular impact because she did not come to this career with a background in journalism. I am terribly saddened to learn of Diane's death. She was such a cheerful person with a wonderful, sweet spirit. I worked with her for many years at The Grand Rapids Press and she would often brighten my day with her warm smile and kind comments. My deepest sympathy to Diane's family. She was indeed a precious child of God.

Diane will be missed dearly by many, including me! She may not have been married to my dad for very long, but long enough to Love her and her family!! She will always be remembered as mom to me! Thoughts and prayers are with Scott, Tori, & their families!! I Love You All, Melanie

I will forever call Diane my friend. I always call Tori my friend. They both have special places in my heart. God bless your family.

Diane, your singing voice uncannily similar to my Mothers powerful abilities, I enjoyed being onstage with you immensely, and am grateful for the friendship we shared. I pray I follow you there when my turn presents itself, and be found salvaged and cleansed of my sins by the blood shed by Jesus, by way of the Holy Spirit conducted to where Jesus waits for all His, and in His name I humbly pray, amen. Until our next, fare thee well Diane!

I used to tell her I always wanted to sit near her in church because I loved to hear her sing. Gods heavenly angel choir gained a very lovely additional voice
