Not sure what to say?

Suzy & Murlyn
I am forever grateful to Diane's friendship when we were in Graduate Library School at LSU. Her focus and commitment were a good influence on me. I guess I repaid the favor by encouraging her to join me in Long Beach after we graduated. I have fond & fun memories of our years as roommates.Despite the sad circumstances, I'm looking forward to seeing you both at her funeral.
With much sympathy, Mary Lynn

Dme, you were a good friend and I will miss you very much.

Diane and I had lots of great times together eating, drinking, bowling, sharing laughs and recipes at pot lucks and Christmas dinners. We worked together in the Literature and History Dept. at LBPL for 10 years when we were both new librarians. I will be attending the service on Friday to say goodbye.

To everyone at the library,

Diane was professional and very knowledgeable and taught me the chain of command. At the end of my ten years with her and with the tightening of the monies in the library she was frustated because she cared so much which I understand now. God speed Diane. Sally

Family and friends,
Diane was a person that will be missed. She did a wonderful job at the LB Library keeping the periodical section organized with the best journals. She provided research assistance, would look up information on a phone call and have it ready on arrival. As a city employee, she looked up information several times for me. She was smart, dedicated and well organized. I appreciate her helping let Sally off for our ski trips and getting birthday cakes for her...

I enjoyed working with Diane. Her shy smile was a geniune smile. Her twinkle in her eye would make me smile. She worked hard, was very well organized and full of new ideas. She spoke her mind and there was never any question as to what she meant. I know she will be missed. My prayers are with her and my sympathy to her family.

Dear Suzanne, Murlyn and Mark:
Please know that we are thinking of you in this time of sorrow.
We love you and miss you all,
Mary Ann, Robert, Madeline, Carolyn, Cynthia and families.
