Not sure what to say?

I worked in the pharmacy at the mental health center in Charlotte where Kelly was a therapist. I ALWAYS said Kelly was a fantastic therapist--up front and to the point even with her clients. She was also a good friend to me. She often talked to me about her travels, which I found interesting and told her that she needed to write some of her adventures into stories or a book. She immensely loved Jacob and often would play catcher so he could practice his pitching. The last I heard from her was...

I had the privilege of being a masters of social work intern under Kelly at Florence Crittenton (1993-1994). I am so very sad to learn of her death. She was the most unique person I have ever known. She was my mentor, and, in an entire year, I never saw her wrong about a client. I learned so very much from her about social work and about life. God speed, Kelly. You were one of a kind. Blessings to her family!

I have just found out about Diane's passing. I met her online about 8 years ago and I even had the pleasure of meeting her twice when she came over here on her travels. She was a great lady whose spirit and wit were boundless. She was an inspiration for me and will continue to be for many years. My condolences to her family.

I just learned this morning of dianes death. I am heartbroken, for myself, for her son-who was the light of her life and for the world, we have lost a witty, brilliant woman who will be missed by all who loved her. I would appreciate hearing from her family, please contact me if you can.

Kelly was a valued professional colleague of mine as a clinical social worker in the mental health area. Our friendship continued as she progressed into her full time writing career. I shall miss her vibrant personality and keen sense of humor.

I was saddened to hear of Kelly's death through the Horror Writers Association message board. Hers was one of the names that kept popping up when I first started writing horror and began to get a sense who the professionals in the field were. From reading the messages on HWA and on this guestbook, it looks like she was special outside the horror writing community, too, both for her talents and for the person she was. Blessings upon her family, friends, and colleagues. Shalom.

I am not surprised to see that Kelly had so many good friends. I feel lucky to have been her friend and I miss her sorely. Came to know her in the mental health field but our friendship continued as she progressed into the writing world. My condolences to Ronnie,Jacob, and Donna.

Diane was my niece. Unfortunately, when it is now too late, I deeply regret that I didn't interface with her more. I did talk to Diane about two weeks before her passing and was uplifted by her serenity and sense of humor. I'll always remember her.
