Diane G. Hagerman

Aunt Diane was always at Mi Mi and Pop Pops house to greet us full of bright smiles and hugs when we came down to visit from CT. She always loved telling me the story how she helped my mom and dad pick out my name. Years later after I had my own family Aunt Diane would stop in CT for a few days on her way to Rhode Island. Probably my earliest memories of Diane were from family gatherings, as in this photo from Christmas 1950 at my grandmother´s home in Oak Lane (sorry CC, this was before your time). Family meant so much to Diane and all the Hagermans and we got together as often as we could, whether it was in Pitman, Malaga or Pennsylvania. In later years, I remember many times meeting Diane for lunch at the Stockton Inn and sitting by the waterfall. And we both loved our desserts!

My Aunt Diane was always loving and caring person. Many memories of her babysitting, having dinner down the shore and spending Christmas's at MiMi and Pop Pops. She always remembered every birthday even when we were probably too old to get cards or presents. I hope you're at peace Aunt Diane, you've been through a lot. Love you always.
