Diane A. Honeker, age 53, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2020. She was born in Hoboken, NJ and was raised in Secaucus, and also lived in Carlstadt N.J.. Due to her great love of the water, Diane and Will made their home in Leonardo, NJ 5 years ago.
Diane worked at PSE&G for 23 years as a Clerical Specialist in the Projects & Construction Department at the Hadley Road Facility in South Plainfield, NJ. She loved being at the beach, enjoyed the ocean and outdoors and spending time with Will and their pets.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Josephine Muller; and is also preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Murphy and brother-in-law George Murphy.
Surviving Diane are her husband William H. Honeker Jr; her sister Deborah Amico and her husband Daniel; her niece Jennifer and her niece Christine and her husband Matt and their boys Christian and Joshua. Diane will be deeply missed by her loving dogs, Fritz and Lilly who brought so much joy to her.
A viewing for Diane will be held on Sunday January 3, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723. A funeral home service will be celebrated at 7:30 pm. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic capacity is limited, masks and social distancing are required.
