Diane and I met at the University of Notre Dame in Walsh Hall. Our dorm rooms were right next to each other. Though I was just a new freshman and she a senior Diane took real care and interest in me and my life. Diane hired me at Continental Bank in 1983 to become one of her assistants. What a great person. She helped me launch my banking career by giving me every opportunity to succeed in banking.
