Condolences Robin,
I was a raw "downstairs rookie" when Diane was chosen to help me learn the ropes a little. As a seasoned vet she was just a little - oh, you know, sort of reserved? Somehow tho, we figured out that her mom was a Pavlich, and mine was a Lappo, and, since the families were close (literally as well as figuratively) we were warm friends from then on. Wish I could make it today, (I can't) but you (and all us survivors of DHS) are in my heart and in my prayers.
