Diane Lisitano, 61, of Newington, Connecticut passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2020 following a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Carol (Keating) Lisitano. Diane was raised and educated in Newington and was a graduate of Newington High School in Newington, In her professional career, she held a position with the Law Firm of Reginer, Taylor, Curran & Eddy as a Legal Assistant. Diane had a boundless zest for life. She savored every day, forged lifelong friendships, and made cherished memories with her family. She was also a lover of animals, especially the many rescue cats she fostered and took care of. Her unwavering faith in God contributed to the immense strength and grace she possessed throughout her life. Diane's radiance, warmth, and compassion will be terribly missed by all those blessed to be in her life. She leaves her brother, James Lisitano of Pompano Beach, Florida, several relatives and cousins from Middletown, a special friend Robert DeMartino of Newington, Connecticut and many close childhood friends. A special thank you to Candace Klaneski, LPN for her support and care. A Memorial Service will be held for Diane Lisitano and Louis Lisitano at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions. Brooklawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

As we get older we tend to look back and remember and cherish earlier events in our lives. So many fond memories of Piper Brook Ave. and the fun we had. Diane and Jimmy, cousins Carol ann,Tommy ,Bobby, Timmy and John-John, parents, aunts, uncles , grammy , grampa and all the friends and neighbors in the area. What a group and what great era to grow up.
