I know you all miss Diane greatly still. Donna, you miss your mom (as I do mine). Judy, it must be strange not to have your sister there with you because you two were so close. And her nieces, nephews... she did so much for everyone. She was the glue. I can still hear her laughter, though, and know she'd give any one of us the shirt off her back if she could... she was just like that.

I was so sorry to hear about your mom. She will always be remembered in my heart as a generous and joyful soul who always had a good word for everyone. I loved her kind and caring spirit and will miss her.

Dear Donna, Judy, and other family members,

I was saddened to learn of Diane's transfer to the Sharon Richardson Hospice and then of her recent death. I am grateful, though, that I had the chance to visit with her along with my dad in early January when I was home for the holiday break. She was upbeat, as I always remember her.
