Manuel - Diane Marie (Farstad)
November 21, 1941 – July 2, 2018. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph, her beloved children Michele, Mark Manuele and Krista (Darrell) Nati, cherished grandmother of Gianna and Carmella Nati, eldest sister of Thomas (Norma), Rev. Joan (Rev. Maureen Doherty), James (Kathy), Peter (Paul Mellblom) Farstad and Beth (Gary) Golembiewski, sister-in-law of Lewiston (Judith) Manuel, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Diane is a retired teacher from North Collins Central Schools. In a final act of generosity, Diane donated her body to the UB School of Medicine. A memorial Mass for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 10am at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church in Hamburg, NY. Arrangements by Wentland Funeral Home North Collins, NY. My sincere condolences to Joe and family. I taught with Diane at Cardinal O'Hara High School in the 60s and with Joe in the 80s. My own wife passed away in February of this year after 55 years, so I do sympathize with your loss.
