Diane Marie McAfee

Diane Marie McAfee, 60, of Cadiz, died Monday at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. She was born February 9, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Maximilian and Mary O'Shauski Weiss. Diane attended St. James A.M.E. Church in Cadiz, where she was a former Sunday School Superintendant and a Stewardess. She was a Medical Assistant for the late Eric Reed for most of his life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her husband, Richard McAfee; three daughters, Tabitha (Dale) West and Mildred Reed (Chad Tyler), all of Cadiz and Richelle (Timothy) Tomer of Flushing; three step-sons, Tony McAfee of Zoar, Curt (Theresa) McAfee of Lisbon and Richard Lowe of North Carolina; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. Friends may call Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church, 300 East Market St., Cadiz. Rev. Charles Simpson will officiate.
