Not sure what to say?

I was blessed to have come to know Diane when I was teaching and eventually subbing after retirement at Memorial High School. I enjoyed our conversations in the World Language office and appreciated her support when an issue arose. After Diane retired, we would often chat after the 8:30 AM Mass on Tuesdays at Blessed Sacrament Church. I looked forward to these meetings with Diane as she was always pleasant, kind and caring. It was so evident that goodness was rooted in the deepest...

Magistras Latin III class. Photo taken June 2009.

I give my deepest condolences to Dianes family. I had the privilege of being one of her many students throughout my four years at Memorial High School from 2006 to 2010. In addition to being my Latin teacher and my National Honor Society advisor, she was a mentor and a friend.

Magistra, as we all lovingly called her, greeted and closed every Latin Class with, Salvete, discipuli and Valete discipuli, respectively. I can still even recite the Pledge of Allegiance in Latin to this...

I was a student of Magistra Provost from 2006-2010 at Memorial High School. During those years in her Latin class, I also worked closely with her as a National Honor Society officer and a member of Latin Club. She always tailored her teaching and coaching to my personality and life stage, challenging me to be the best that I could be and calling me higher when I needed to be reminded of my ability. We bonded over our love of the Bruins and the grandiose dreams I had for my life (she always...

Our deepest sympathy to Pauline, Maurice and the family. Diane was always a joy to be around, with her bright and beautiful smile. We keep you in our prayers during this difficult time. With love, Dan and Mona

So sad to hear of Diane's passing. We were childhood friends and I will never forget the fun times we shared and the player piano! My heart goes out to Maurice and Pauline and Diane's son, sisters and family. Charlene (Mathews) Theodosopoulos

Dear Lavigne/Provost Families,
Please accept my deepest sympathies in your loss. I first met Diane when we were students at Notre Dame College. We also worked together at Memorial High School. It was always a joy to see and speak with her. She was one of the nicest people I've ever known. I am so sad that she has left us but I know she is in a better place. Reposez en paix, ma chere amie.

Diane (Bernard) Proulx

Diane was a beautiful person inside and out. Kind, caring, a dedicated teacher. I have fond memories of Diane when she was at West High School. She touched so many lives. Rest In Peace Di. Diane Beaudry

Our heartfelt sympathy, from the Cunningham family to the Lavigne & Provost families. Diane will always be remembered fondly.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Magistra Provost. She was my Latin teacher at West. She was warm and patient, and she always had a smile and a kind word for us. A lovely lady who will be missed. May you be comforted by your memories of her.
