Not sure what to say?

I am still having trouble processing the loss of this wonderful light of a woman. She was funny, extremely smart, and a friend and "momma" to many. She never lost her sense of humor. It was her trademark. We were both night owls and had the best conversations and laughs late at night while the rest of the world was sleeping. She had a heart of gold that shined so brightly that you would believe her heart was on the outside. The world is a little dimmer but heaven is so much brighter...

Diane was one special lady. She never met a stranger, always had a smile for everyone and loved her family. I will truly miss her. I loved working with her and staying connected after retiring. Our dinners out with fellow retirees were some of the best times.

Diane was truly one of a kind. Whenever I think of her it brings back memories of joy, laughter and a free spirit that loved everyone she met. We worked together early in our careers at Bell South. She brought warmth and happiness where ever she went. She gave every task her heartfelt very best. I know that Eric, Amy and Tony will truly miss her smile and humor but her love for each of you will surely be felt the rest of your lives. My prayers are with each of you as you say goodbye to...

The first line of Diane's obituary says it all. She was joy personified! She loved to laugh and her laugh was contagious. I loved working with her and staying in touch after we retired. She will be missed!

Diane Schott was a one of a kind lady. She ALWAYS cracked a funny to make you laugh. That joy just came natural to her. We always commented on how we felt like we knew each other for years.....and I guess when you think of it, we did. I do not even have words to say how much I loved this girl....she will be sorely missed. But we know where she is!!! Deepest heartfelt sympathy to all that loved her.....

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Diane and the whole Rice family have a special place in my heart. I have fond memories of our childhood and growing up in East Atlanta. Diane's smile reflected the kind soul that she was. She will be missed.

My Sweet Diane always had a smile even when I knew she was not Happy. Taught me everything I needed to know working under she and Eric on the Leadership Team for Relay for Life for many years. A very Special art of my Life and Heart. My prayers for Eric, Amy, Tony. Gone too soon but definitely will never be forgotten!
