John, I just heard of Diane's passing. Wayland and I saddened by her loss. She was a warm and wonderful person, and the world is dimmer without her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Matt, and Joe.

Matt you probably don't remember it but we played many an hour on the floor on Trinity Ave. Your Mom was the best!

I am sorry to hear from you about Diane's passing. She was truly one of the sweetest people I ever met. Ellen and I had the pleasure of living with you and Diane when Matt was born. I have nothing but fond memories of those times. My Greatest condolences. The world has lost a truly beautiful person.

John, although we have lost touch in recent years, I will always cherish the friendship that you and I and Dianne and your children shared. I am saddened by your loss. Dianne was special.

Although we have not seen her in many years (since we lived in Durham) we remember her kindness and care she gave to all those around her. Dianne still remembers her love for cats. To Diane's family and friends, my deepest and sincere condolences. I worked as a pharmacist with Diane at Duke from 2002-2005, and I will never forget the day Diane likely saved the life of a patient due to her critical thinking and professionalism. What a bright light Diane was in the world.
