Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear that Diane has succumbed to cancer. She fought a courageous battle during the past few years. She was a special person, and will be missed. My sympathies to her family.
Louise Melnik

Diane was such a warm and friendly person with a positive outlook on life. She knew she had to get as much living in as she could these past few years. She made me feel very welcomed when I first started working at the Shaker Heights Police Department and I will always remember that. She is with God and her physical suffering has finally ended. Prayers to the Soukup family and friends who mourn the loss of this lovely soul. Debra Messing

Diane was quite a special lady and will be sorely missed. I have enjoyed the pleasure of knowing her for the past forty years. Our lives have been intertwined through the Shaker Heights Police Wives, the FOP, the Cleveland Hiking Club, the Blue Knights motorcycling club. Diane was always the familiar face, warm and welcoming, at clambakes & holiday parties. She and my late husband, Tom, had a wonderful working relationship when Diane worked in the Records Room at the SHPD and Tom was the...

Rest in peace, sweet Diane! You were such a help to me when I was Corresponding Secretary for the Cleveland Hiking Club for 3 years. At the time you were living in Parma and close to the post office box that CHC had their mail sent to. You would pick up the mail for me and on my way home from work we would do our "drops" (we have fun about that!). If our world had more people like you in it, it would be a most wonderful place. Rest in the arms of our Savior.

I am sorry to learn that Diane has left us but trust the reward for this good, kind, gentle soul will be every bit as warm as she made us all feel. She was a lovely, caring person. I know her from hiking, and have for years. She was a blessing to us all. Rest in the arms of God, Diane. Peace!

I am so sorry for your loss, I knew Diane thru the 50+ club, but I first met her at St. Clarence Irish dancing, she was a wonderful person and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends. God Bless

What a delightful lady! I took her to Israel in December and she had such a good time. Praise God for her life and peace and comfort to her family!

Diane came out to Hinckley Reservation several times to hike with us.
She was a beautiful person...we will all miss her.
May she Rest In Peace and may perpetual light shine upon her.
We hold you up in our prayers . I walk with you as I recently lost my Mom. God bless.

We are so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. We only had the pleasure of knowing her as new neighbors. She welcomed us to the neighborhood last May when we moved in next door to her. She was a lovely woman who will be missed. Our condolences to her family.
