Diane STONE

My husband met Gene at an onboard pickleball tournament recently, and during ensuing dinners we learned about Diane! As we talked of our interests and travel adventures I realized how many similarities our families shared, but thousands of miles apart. I would have so much enjoyed the opportunity to meet Diane, and realized how deeply and how much she is missed! May God bless Gene and their entire family!

I remember Diane from USAFA, where we were both managers for the women's basketball team. "Chappy" was a joy to be around and was always ready to pitch in, no matter what needed to be done. Unfortunately, we didn't keep in touch, but I'm not surprised to read that she continued a full and meaningful life. Deepest condolences to her family upon losing her at such a young age. 80's Ladies Strong!

Diane, You will always be among our unique and special USAFA 80's Ladies. God now celebrates your life well lived and loved. We pray for your family during this time of grief - especially Gene. Thank you for the courage and kindness you showed so many of us in the short time our journey's walk on this earth crossed.
