Not sure what to say?

DST (as I used call her) is ever present in my thoughts and dreams. So blessed to have shared so many splendid times with her.

Diane - always remembered and always loved. So very fortunate to have had you as a wonderful friend.

Diane was a best, best friend. Over the many years that we lived and worked in the same universe, many were the days that we played a competitive game of tennis...and partnered playing platform tennis winning 2 national tournaments! Diane was a joy to be with, kind and giving and supportive. I have a photo of the two of us standing together on a paddle court at Pound Ridge Tennis Club. It sits in a spot where I can see her all the time. I am so grateful that she was a part of my life.

I have dreamt a lot about Diane over the past two years and even though she was not "family" she is very much in my thoughts. A splendid friend and overall very special lady. My very best to all family members.

May your light shine brightly in all of those you knew in your life

Diane was my college roommate at Yale for the first 2 years, and we reconnected in Bedford, NY, after she had her 3 children and I had 2. She was a woman of intense vitality and intelligence, fiercely supportive of her children and family, and reflecting the love and principles of the parents-Peter and Ellen- who raised her. I am greatly saddened to know that she has died--gone way too soon from a world that so needs her vision and commitment. My deepest sympathy to Peter, Becca, and...

I'm posting online because I don't have a mailing address for family and will be out of town on the date of Diane's memorial service. We knew each other from our Woodley House board days and bonded over common issues. She was very helpful to us in finding a new group care facility for our daughter. She understood and knew how to be a friend. I will always be grateful and will miss her. My deepest sympathies to her children and family.

My heart aches. She was such a treasure on The Crisis board...a gentle spirit with powerful ideas. We were planning to work on one of her suggestions. I will miss her so very, very much. She was not just a board member, she was a friend.

On behalf of our Woodley House Board of Trustees, residents and staff, we send our deepest sympathy to Diane's family and close friends. We were fortunate to have Diane as a Board member for 6 years. We miss her bright smile and sage advice.
