Although I haven't had contact with Diane for decades, I have fond memories of our years together at East High School and the University of Utah. Diane kindly managed my campaign when I ran for editor of the high school newspaper, and it certainly wasn't her fault that I lost. Our ensuing friendship was one of the highlights of those years.
