Not sure what to say?

To my long time friend. Rest In Peace. I will miss you.

Thank you, Diane, for your friendship. We arrived across the street from you and Pat in 1988 and have enjoyed your company, your humor, and your tasty cookies ever since! We will miss you greatly. It has taken me some weeks to write this message -- saying goodbye is not an easy thing.

Diane was my dear neighbor and friend for 25 years. I enjoyed many memories of the Park Place neighborhood with her and Pat. She was an astounding, intelligent and caring woman. I miss her but I know she is resting in peace.

Diane was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met and she always welcomed new writers and the old regulars at meetings and conventions with the biggest smile. I don't think I can ever forget her beautiful smile or the wonderful words of wisdom she shared. She was quite the friend, writer, artist, and all round great gal. She was kind-hearted and always willing to help someone. She will be greatly missed and her memories will go on in my heart for a lifetime. She's a true blessing and I am...

Please accept my condolences . I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the word of God comfort and strengthen you. 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17

Diane, thank you for being my mentor, role model, friend, and fun traveling companion. You taught me that one can start from anywhere and make a difference. I will always carry with me a mental picture of you marching in your first protest (in the 60s?) dressed to the nines, right down to your high heels. This corner of the world is better because of you.

Dear Diane, I'm so glad we got to know each other the past half decade and counted on your sunshine to brighten my days
You lived admirably and you touched so many people with your compassion, your brilliance and your beautiful words. Wish we'd had more time.

Diane was all the things we can say about her, and more. I think we all probably wish we could spend just a little more time with her to say a few more things to her that we have always thought about her. Thank you to Diane's family for sharing so much of her time, energy, wit, determination, and compassion with us.

Diane was a good friend in graduate school. I will remember her fondly.
